Fluval Edge Aquarium
The fluval edge aquarium is the world's first 3D water cube aquarium. With it's six sided glass tank it provides a modern designer look to complement any room in your home of office.
Due to the cutting edge design with a glass top you can fill up the 23 litre aquarium to the very top allowing you to view the fish from all angles in an enhanced environment.
With this partially sealed glass top there will be less evaporation which reduces maintenance whilst the hidden opening will allow oxygen exchange to keep your fish healthy.
Instead of having to be sited on a heavy base the Fluval Edge Aquarium sits on a floating base colored to match the rest of the aquarium - hence the reason why it can look visually stunning in any room of your home.
If you position your tank at a lower level you can view the stunning effect of your fish collection from above with no equipment or wires visible.

The addition of the powerful retractable halogen lighting system will create a visually stunning shimmering effect enhanced even further by the gentle flow of the water in the aquarium.
Essential Equipment Hidden
The unique module to contain the equipment for your aquarium allows the items to be hidden from view. Low voltage lighting and the Fluval Edge Filter which is very quiet can be housed here.
The EDGE filter which is currently the world's best selling filter uses a 3 stage process and ensures a clean healthy environment for your fish. The first mechanical stage is a foam filter which traps any particles and debris. The second chemical stage is a carbon insert to absorb impurites, odours and any discoloration. The third biological stage filter is a BIOMAX insert which encourages the growth of friendly bacteria.
Easy assembly and maintenance
The Fluval Edge takes seconds to assemble with easy access to the media trays in the filter. With it's perforated, removable cover the potential for moisture from the heat of the lamp is reduced. A range of EDGE cleaning accessories are available making the process extremely simple.
Choosing Suitable Fish
As the capacity of the aquarium is limited to 23 litres you need to choose fish which are suitable for a tank of this size namely:
White Cloud Mountain Minnows, Betta Splendens, Barbs, Danios, small Goldfish, Crystal Red Shrimps and Snails.
If choosing fish remember that they are normally introduced as young fish so you need to allow for growth. You should allocate a minimum of 3 litres of water for every 1cm of fish, excluding the tail. Tropical fish will require a heater suitable for the aquarium
Aquarium Sizes
The Edge Aquarium itself measures 17″ x 10 1/4″ x 9″ and with the bottom base and lights the sizes are 17″ x 14″ x 14″.

Zen Wall Decor Ornament - Modern, linear design ornament, made of durable resin and glass, with plant holders and a screen wall with cutout to accommodate the filter inlet pipe and optional heater, if required.
Heater - Required for tropical fish set-ups. Compact, safe and submersible, pre-set to 26 oC/78oF with no adjustment necessary.
Fish Net - Angled, triangular head allows access into corners. Soft mesh netting is safe for small or delicate species.
Gravel Cleaner - Contoured to reach all corners of the aquarium. Includes 2 cleaning heads, easy start valve and an exclusive gravel guard.
Digital Thermometer - Mounts to the outside glass for an accurate and clear temperature reading.
